Police Searching For Possible Armed Suspect In Reseda
RESEDA (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching a Reseda neighborhood for at least one suspect they believe may be armed with a handgun.
Authorities have set up a perimeter around a residence located in the 19100 block of Lanark Street.
Los Angeles Police Department Officer Sara Faden said investigators believe the suspect may have entered the home during the search, which began at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
It's not believed residents are inside the home.
The LAPD is advising the public to avoid Tampa Avenue and Lanark Street as the search continues.
A canine unit has been called in to assist.
