2 Armed Suspects Arrested Following Pursuit In Valley Village

VALLEY VILLAGE (CBSLA.com) — Police arrested two armed suspects on Friday who were hiding in Valley Village after leading officers on a short pursuit.

Shortly before 4 a.m., officers were sent to Burbank Boulevard and Whitsett Avenue for report of an unknown incident.

Upon their arrival, two male suspects led officers on a short pursuit in a possibly stolen vehicle.

At one point during the pursuit, the vehicle was involved in a traffic collision in the area of Chandler Boulevard and Colfax Avenue.

Two men armed with handguns fled from the vehicle and ran into a neighborhood.

Officers then set up a perimeter to search for the suspects with K-9 officers.

Shortly before 6:30 a.m., the suspects were taken into custody.
