Police Search For Suspect In Connection With Fatal Lennox Hit-And-Run

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police on Sunday were searching for a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a person pushing a shopping cart across the street in the Lennox community of unincorporated Los Angeles County.

The crash, at Lennox Boulevard and Eastwood Avenue, was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 9:50 a.m., according to the CHP.

The vehicle involved in the crash was described as a black Honda or Acura.

A representative from the coroner's office was called to the scene at 10:17 a.m.

Shortly before 11 a.m., all lanes of Lennox Boulevard between Eastwood Ave and Freeman Ave. was closed to traffic.
