Police Search For Pursuit Suspect Armed With Gun In Inglewood

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police were searching for a suspect armed with a gun Friday that fled from his vehicle after leading officers on a pursuit.

According to the Inglewood Police Department, the pursuit ended at the corner of Hillcrest and Walnut.

Officers set up a perimeter, after the suspect jumped out of the vehicle and ran into a yellow apartment building, KCAL9's Stu Mundel reported from above the scene.

It was unclear what the suspect was originally wanted for in the pursuit.

No injuries have been reported.
