4 Armed Suspects Arrested In Connection With Residential Robbery In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Four men suspected of breaking into a home in Long Beach have been arrested, police said Monday.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the incident unfolded around 1:30 a.m. at a home located in the 3200 block of Chestnut Avenue.

Four men attempted to flee from the residence following the robbery. Police said three of the men were immediately taken into custody. The fourth suspect was able to escape, but was later detained during a perimeter search of the area.

Police have not released the identities of the suspects.

A SWAT team was called to assist at the scene.

During the investigation, neighbors were asked to shelter in place.

No injuries were reported.
