Police Search For 2 Pursuit Suspects In West Adams; 1 Arrested

WEST ADAMS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities searched for two suspects Tuesday who led officers on a high-speed chase through Los Angeles County.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were on routine patrol around 11 p.m. on Monday when they heard eight to 10 gunshots fired in the area of La Brea Avenue and West Adams Boulevard.

Authorities attempted to stop a dark colored SUV, which fled at a high rate of speed from the area.

A pursuit then subsequently began.

About 30 seconds later, the suspect vehicle struck two innocent vehicles. Three suspects fled from the vehicle on foot.

At this time, only one suspect has been arrested.

No firearms have been recovered from the scene.

CHP officers requested for the off-ramps from the 10 Freeway to La Brea Avenue to be shut down.
