Police Release Age-Progressed Sketch Of Woman Who Went Missing In 1989

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police released an age-progressed sketch Friday of a woman who has been missing for more than 25 years.

Maria Gabriela Medina was just 19 when she was last seen in the area of 6th and Los Angeles streets in downtown Los Angeles on March 4, 1989, Los Angeles police said. When Medina disappeared, she was 5-foot-1 and about 115 pounds.

After 25 years, the Medina family is appealing again to the public for help finding their sister and daughter.

Medina would be 44 years old at the present time. The Los Angeles Police Department released an age progression rendering to portray would Medina may look like today.
