Police Pursue Suspect On 105 Freeway

HAWTHORNE (CBSLA.com) —  The CHP is chasing a suspect on the 105 Freeway Saturday evening.

The driver is reaching speeds of 80-90 mph.

He is driving erratically with his hazard lights on.

The CHP said the chase started in the South Gate area -- where a chase also began earlier in the evening -- after the driver ran a stop sign.

Officials were able to employ spike strips. The driver's front tires appear to be flat.

The chase continued through the Lynwood area as the driver came to a crawl.
