Police Pursuit Of Possible DUI Suspect Ends In Arleta

NEWHALL (CBSLA.com) — Police were in pursuit of a possible DUI driver on Sunday night.

The pursuit proceeded through the Newhall pass along the I-5 southbound, with the suspect driving at low speeds around 35 miles per hour.

The suspect pulled off to the side of the road at 10:34 p.m. in Arleta, and continued to roll along the shoulder.

At least four CHP units followed in pursuit.

The suspect came to a stop at 10:35, and stepped outside the vehicle shortly after, at which point he appeared to be cooperating with officers.
