Police Looking For Public's Help To Identify Carjacking Suspect

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles police seek the public's help in identifying a carjacking suspect caught on surveillance video.

On Monday, victims of the alleged carjacking called and asked them to respond to the 5200 block of Century Boulevard.

The victims told police the suspect entered their vehicle. They asked the man to get out of the car, but they said he refused and he took off in the vehicle.

The suspect pushed the victim out of the vehicle, a 2013 Chevy Malibu with Texas plates BSP9855, while it was moving.

They said the suspect fled eastbound on Century Boulevard.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video. He is a Latino, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and weighs 250 to 300 pounds, police said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white knit cap with black logos, a dark gray hoodie with drawstrings, black baggy jeans and black tennis shoes with white trim and soles.
