Police Investigating Shooting In Brea Mall Parking Lot

BREA (CBSLA.com) — Police Saturday were investigating a shooting in the parking lot of Brea Mall.

Officers were called to the 1000 block of Brea Mall, near the Red Robin restaurant, Saturday afternoon.

No one was injured in the shooting, police say.

Police announced the arrest of a 22-year-old male suspect on Saturday evening.

After interviewing the intended target, police said they arrested suspect Dino Berroa of Aliso Viejo who was nabbed during a traffic stop in Irvine, authorities said.

Berroa and the intended target know one another, police said.

An area of the parking lot was closed off for an on-scene investigation.
