Police Investigating Body Found In Glendora

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The body of a woman was recovered in Glendora on Thursday, authorities said.

Local detectives were sent to South Lone Hill Ave and Auto Centre Drive around 10 a.m, the Sheriff's Information Bureau reported.

Metro employees doing work on the nearby railway found the body early this morning.

The victim was a 26-year-old woman who had a history of health problems, authorities said.

Deputy Tina Shrader said "it appears she may have been there a day or two," and there were no signs that she was struck by a train.

The identity of the victim and the cause of death were not immediately released.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
