Police Investigate Report Of Shots Fired In Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Police were responding Monday to a report of shots fired in the Sherman Oaks area of the San Fernando Valley, authorities said.

Officers responded around 12:32 p.m. to a caller reporting gunshots were heard along the 5600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, according to an LAPD spokesperson.

The investigation was focused on a vacant commercial business complex, where police say the shots were believed to have come from.

No hostages were involved in the situation, according to police.
