High-speed pursuit in Southern California ends after suspect suddenly surrenders

The California Highway Patrol was in a high-speed pursuit of a suspect weaving past traffic on Los Angeles County freeways. 

The pursuit started in Orange County near Westminster. The suspect continued to evade police through the 605 Freeway before entering the westbound lanes of the I-210. The driver surrendered to police near N. Santa Anita Avenue and E. Floral Avenue in the San Gabriel Valley.
