Police Cruiser Crashes Into Occupied Car In Baldwin Hills During Chase

BALDWIN HILLS (CBSLA.com)  — Authorities said a police vehicle crashed into an occupied vehicle in Baldwin Hills Sunday during a chase.

The LAPD said the collision occurred around 1 p.m. on Stocker Street near south Fairfax Avenue, according to Sgt. Jorge Oseguera of LAPD's Southwest Community Police Station.

No details were released as to the nature of the chase.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, Oseguera said.

The officers involved in the crash were reportedly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Oseguera said people in the vehicle the police crashed into complained of pain and were also hospitalized.
