Police Continue To Look For NoHo Hit-And-Run Driver That Left Man With Serious Injury

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities continued the hunt Sunday for a hit-and-run driver who left another motorist with serious injuries in North Hollywood.

A van headed east on Sherman Way crashed into a pickup truck at Vineland Avenue, around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Initial reports from the scene said the victim -- driver of the pickup -- was fatally injured and other reports said the man had minor injuries.

On Sunday, police confirmed the unidentified victim was seriously hurt.

The driver of the van fled the scene, police said. A passenger in the van remained on scene but has been uncooperative, police said.

The passenger has failed to identify the driver, authorities said.
