Sheriff's Arrest 4 Suspects In Inland Empire Home Invasion Robbery

CANYON LAKE (CBSLA.com) — Officials say four suspects in a home invasion robbery in the Inland Empire are behind bars.

Authorities said the suspects forced their way into a home on Channel Way Drive in Canyon Lake on May 7 around 12:30 in the afternoon.

The suspects tied up the residents of the home with packing tape -- reportedly at gunpoint --  then drove away in the victim's car, a 2012 Kia Soul.

Police said they arrested Allen Hackley, 47, of Riverside County on Saturday after a brief chase in the stolen car.

Hackley was charged with residential robbery, false imprisonment, receiving stolen property and investigation of car theft.

Authorities said three alleged accomplices -- two women and another man -- were taken into custody Sunday.

Investigators reportedly searched a home in Wildomar linked to the suspects and allegedly found property belonging to the victim inside the home.
