Police: 6 People Struck By Possible DUI Driver In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police say a possibly drunken driver plowed into six people Thursday night in Long Beach.

At least two of those injured were small children, according to a witness.

The accident took place around 8 p.m. near Artesia Boulevard and Gundry Avenue, Long Beach police reported.

The driver stopped and remained at the scene until officers arrived.

Those injured were transported to hospitals for treatment.

Officials would not provide any details about the motorist or the youths involved, only that they were investigating the accident as a possible DUI.
