Pitt, Jolie Marry In Secret Weekend Wedding
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now husband and wife.
The secret wedding took place over the weekend in Chateau Miraval, France, a spokesman said.
The pair were wed Saturday in a small chapel in a nondenominational ceremony attended by family and friends.
In advance of the civil ceremony, Pitt and Jolie also obtained a marriage license from a local California judge, who also conducted the ceremony in France.
The couple's children took part in the wedding. Jolie walked the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox and Pax. Zahara and Vivienne threw petals. Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers, the spokesman says.
Photos of the ceremony have yet to be released, however, Pitt Thursday was seen wearing a wedding ring while promoting his latest movie in England.
The couple became an item after appearing in the the 2005 hit, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".
