Car, MTA Bus Collide In Pico-Union Neighborhood; Driver Hospitalized In Serious Condition
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —Multiple patients were being evaluated Sunday after a vehicle and a bus collided in a Pico-Union neighborhood.
Shortly before 1 p.m., authorities were sent to the 1500 block of West Washington Boulevard for report of a traffic collision involving a bus and a vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Upon their arrival, paramedics transported the driver of the vehicle to a hospital in serious condition.
Nine other patients who were on board the MTA bus declined transport from the scene.
The cause of the collision will be investigated.
