Pickup Truck Driver Taken Into Custody After Pursuit

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — California Highway Patrol officers and Pasadena police pursued a suspect in a pickup truck Friday night.

The chase started around 11 p.m. when authorities tried to pull over the motorist for speeding on the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway at Mission Road.

The incident ended on San Gabriel Boulevard in Pasadena when the CHP did a PIT maneuver, causing the vehicle to spin out.

The driver was taken into custody without incident.
