Pharmacies Burglarized In Beverly Hills; Suspects Arrested

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday arrested two men who allegedly burglarized at least multiple pharmacies in Beverly Hills.

Shortly after 4:00 a.m., officers came across a burglary in progress at Mickey Fine Pharmacy, located in the 400 block of North Roxbury Drive, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Five codeine cough syrup bottles and a box were left on the ground in front of the store entrance.

It remains unclear what was stolen from the pharmacy, but it appears as though the suspects were searching for narcotics.

Authorities apprehended one of the suspects at the scene.

A second suspect fled on foot to a nearby neighborhood, located south of Wilshire Boulevard, and was later arrested.

Police learned that Pharmacy 90210, located at Linden Street and Wilshire Boulevard, was also broken into. The pharmacy is located around the corner from Mickey Fine Pharmacy.

Upon their arrival, authorities found the store front window had been shattered.

Police believe the burglaries are related.

No injuries were reported.
