Body Found In Burning RV In Compton

COMPTON (CBSLA) – Firefighters found a person dead inside a parked RV that caught fire in Compton Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported at 3:30 a.m. in the area of South Avalon and East Compton boulevards. Los Angeles County firefighters responded to find the RV fully engulfed in flames.

When crews knocked down the fire, they found a person dead inside. The victim's gender and identity were not confirmed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
