Pepperdine Beats Cold-Shooting Loyola Marymount 65-49

MALIBU (AP) -- Stacy Davis scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Pepperdine rolled to a 65-49 victory over Loyola Marymount on Saturday.

Pepperdine (17-12, 10-8 West Coast Conference) faces San Diego (15-15, 8-10) next Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the West Coast Conference Tournament at Las Vegas. Loyola Marymount (8-22, 4-14) will go in as the No. 9 or 10 seed and play Friday night.

Davis shot 8 of 12 from the floor and had four assists and three blocks. Jett Raines scored 14 points, Lamond Murray Jr. 13 and Jeremy Major 10 with five assists for the Waves, who made 24 of 50 field goals (48 percent).

David Humphries had 11 points and 10 rebounds with three steals to lead Loyola Marymount, which shot just 18 of 61 (29.5 percent) from the floor, including 2 of 20 from long range.
