Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Motorist On Freeway In South LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorist Saturday on the Westbound 105 Freeway in South Los Angeles.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were sent around 5:30 a.m. to the freeway, just East of Vermont Avenue.

A SigAlert was issued, which have closed all four lanes of the Westbound freeway until further notice.

The L.A. County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Hector Valle Perez, 64, of Los Angeles.
