Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities say a pedestrian has been fatally struck in Santa Clarita.

The accident occurred Thursday afternoon just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Bouquet Canyon and Seco Canyon Road.

The pedestrian -- described by City News Service as a 20-something male on a skateboard -- was declared dead at the scene.

Lt. Rob Hahnlein of the Sheriff's Santa Clarita Valley Station says the driver remained at the scene.
