Pedestrian 'Extremely Critical' After PCH Hit-And-Run Crash

PACIFIC PALISADES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday said a man in his 30s was "extremely critical" after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on the Pacific Coast Highway.

The accident happened just after 8 p.m. on the thoroughfare near Will Rogers Beach in Pacific Palisades.

Authorities said they were searching for the suspect vehicle, described as a silver Toyota Prius.

Meanwhile, the victim was airlifted to an area hospital just after 8:30 p.m.
