Paul Pierce Signs With Clippers

Los Angeles (CBSLA.com) — Paul Pierce will leave the Washington Wizards and has elected to reunite with his former coach Doc Rivers in Los Angeles. Pierce inked a three-year deal with the Clippers, according to reports.

Pierce is coming off his only season with the Washington Wizards, during which he averaged a career low 11.9 points per game. However, Pierce did hit a buzzer-beater in the playoffs to help the Wizards advance to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.

Pierce played for the Brooklyn Nets two years ago, but played for the Boston Celtics from 1998-2013.
