Parents Accused Of Trying To Sell Kids For Drugs Or Money

LANCASTER (CBSLA) — A mother and father in Lancaster are accused of trying to sell or trade their two sons in exchange for money or drugs.

Vincent Calogero, 38, and Sarah Nilson, 32, were arrested on several charges, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept.

The stunning crime allegedly unfolded on the 100 block of East Avenue J8.

Investigators have not said how they uncovered the couple's alleged plan or how they were able to stop them.

The children were taken into custody.
