Paralympic Track Star Blake Leeper Shares Journey To Compete In Olympics

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — U.S. paralympic track and field star Blake Leeper stopped by KCAL9 on Saturday to talk about his journey to become the first disabled American athlete to compete in the Olympic Games in Rio.

Leeper is a bilateral below the knee amputee who has used prosthetics since the age of nine.

He recently played in the NBA All-Star celebrity basketball game alongside stars like Kevin Hart, Common, Chris Mullin, Anthony Anderson and more.

Leeper has been the first double amputee to be featured on the Wheaties box in over 80 years.
