Man Found Shot To Death In Palmdale

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Monday investigated a deadly shooting that occurred in Palmdale.

The shooting was reported around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Old Harold Road, according to sheriff's deputies.

Upon their arrival, authorities located a man lying unconscious in the roadway, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso.

Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where he later died. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

No suspect description was available.

The investigation is ongoing.
