3 Earthquakes Strike In Riverside County

RIVERSIDE COUNTY (CBSLA.com) — Three earthquakes rattled parts of San Jacinto and Corona early Wednesday morning.

The first quake, a magnitude-3.9, hit at 12:39 a.m. two miles north, northwest of San Jacinto and four miles north of Hemet, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

An hour and 40 minutes later, a second magnitude-3.1 quake struck the same area.

Shortly after 9 a.m., a magnitude-3.0 shook six miles southwest of Corona.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
