Oscar-Winner Patricia Arquette Gives Chance For Supporter To Aid Her On Humanitarian Trip

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Oscar-winner Patricia Arquette co-founded the humanitarian group GiveLove after the devastating quake in Haiti in 2010.

To help raise money for GiveLove, she's offering the chance for anyone who donates to go along on her next mission.

GiveLove says: "You will get the chance to get your hands dirty, literally, with Patricia and the GiveLove.org team on an international humanitarian trip at some point this year. Lodging, airfare, travel money are included, so all you'll have to worry about is storing up your energy to help build better lives for those you'll be serving."

Donations for the unconventional fundraiser range from $10 (1 entry in the mission try) to $500 (250 entries and a signed book on the making of "Boyhood" as well as a CD of the soundtrack, a signed photo and digital thank you.)

GiveLove is a nonprofit organization founded by Arquette and Rosetta Getty. According to their website, "after five years of relief and emergency sanitation work in Haiti, GiveLove is going global with a skills training program and GO-Team of experts to teach people how to build affordable toilets and compost waste. In 2015, we'll be expanding our work to other high-need areas, as well as creating an online university to share practical training videos and other resources for people who want to start their own composting projects."
