126th Annual OC Fair Kicks Off In Costa Mesa Today
COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — The 126th annual Orange County Fair returns to Costa Mesa Friday, featuring new tasty treats, cooking contests, craft beer tastings and concerts.
The theme of the fair, which kicks off at noon, is "Get Your Fair Face On."
An art installation will feature an animated, mashup display of faces and fairgoers who enter the exhibit.
The fair will also partake in the Pokémon Go craze, allowing players to capture creatures at the event.
Newly born piglets and other livestock will be on display.

The first hour of the fair features no charge for admission or parking.
The fair will remain open from noon to midnight Wednesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 14.
