One Killed In 101 Freeway Crash In Downtown LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – One person was killed in a crash on the 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Thursday morning.
The crash occurred at around 4:15 a.m. on the northbound 101 Freeway near Alameda Street.
The circumstances of the crash and the number of vehicles involved were not confirmed. The victim's identity was not released.
The northbound lanes of the freeway were completely shut down for several hours. They have since been reopened.
