One Hit, Killed By Train In Pomona

POMONA (CBSLA) – A person was struck and killed by a train in Pomona early Monday morning.
The collision occurred at about 1 a.m. on train tracks at First and Huntington streets.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the victim died at the scene.
The person was not immediately identified, but on Thursday, they identified the man as 33-year-old, Osbaldo Valdivia.
The circumstances of the collision were unknown. Surrounding roads were closed for several hours, but have since reopened.
