On-Duty Firefighter Struck By Vehicle In Wilmington

WILMINGTON (CBSLA) — A firefighter was struck by a vehicle while working on Wilmington Boulevard Friday evening.

Crews responded to the 1100 block of North Wilmington Boulevard around 4:25 p.m.

The firefighter was said to have been struck while assisting in putting out a fire.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wilmington Boulevard was partially closed as LAPD investigated.
