Officers Respond To Report Of Shots Fired Into Metro Bus In Exposition Park

EXPOSITION PARK (CBSLA.com)  —  Deputies with the LA Sheriff's Department are responded to reports of shots fired into a Metro bus downtown.

The shooting occurred at MLK and Western, authorities said.

The victim, in unknown condition, is reportedly 30 years old. How many times the man was shot was unclear.

Gordon Spencer, reporting in Sky9, said a man was put into a ambulance.

"We do not know the nature of his injuries," Spencer reported.

An initial report from the scene said the man was shot in the abdomen but that was not confirmed.

Police are investigating.

A suspect is at large, authorities said.
