Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting Reported In North Hills

NORTH HILLS (CBSLA.com)  —   The LAPD was involved in a fatal officer-involved shooting in North Hills Sunday evening.

The shooting took place just before 6 p.m. on Norwich Avenue, in the area of Lemona Avenue and Acre Street, according to the LAPD.

A news  videographer told City News Service that a  person believed to be the suspect was being administered CPR when taken from the scene  in an ambulance.

It was unclear if any officers were injured in the shooting.

An officer on scene confirmed to KCAL9's Jennifer Kastner that the suspect reportedly was wielding a knife.
