South Pasadena Police Shoot, Kill Suspect In Burbank

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) – South Pasadena police officers shot and killed a suspect in Burbank Thursday morning.

According to Burbank police, the shooting occurred at 8:35 a.m. in the 1400 block of Broadway while South Pasadena police officers were conducting a follow-up on a criminal investigation.

Two South Pasadena officers were serving an arrest warrant when the shooting occurred, Burbank police told CBS2. The male suspect died at the scene. No officers were injured.

The name of the suspect and the circumstances that prompted the officers to open fire were not confirmed. The suspect's name was not immediately released.

Burbank police are investigating the incident.
