OC Man's Vehicle Stolen With Beloved Pup Inside

ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — An Orange County man's vehicle was stolen early Wednesday morning with his beloved pup inside.

CBS2's Stacey Butler reported that Larry Burgoon left his black Honda Civic running at an Orange Chevron gas station while he went to buy a cup of coffee around 5 a.m.

"Went in less than five minutes, came back, the car was gone," he said.

Burgoon said he wasn't devastated over his ride, but because Miles, his 3-year-old Pomeranian mix, was gone, too.

"He means the world to us. He's our little boy. We'd do anything for Miles," he said. "If you're out there Miles, we love you, and I'm sorry."

Burgoon has been posting signs all around his neighborhood in hopes someone will return Miles. He's offering a $1,000 reward.

"If you have him out there, if you've abandoned him, please, please, please," Burgoon said. "We want the dog back, no questions asked. We don't care about the car."
