OC Brothers Sentenced For Molesting 2 Young Girls
SANTA ANA (AP) — Southern California brothers who took turns molesting two little girls are going to prison.
The Orange County district attorney's office says 38-year-old Cristobal Rodriguez and 36-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez of Fullerton were sentenced Monday to 50 years each.
Prosecutors say they repeatedly molested two sisters, ages 3 and 7, in the converted garage where the brothers lived. The molestation began in 2010 and continued for more than a year.
Authorities say the girls, who lived nearby, were molested, shown pornographic images and bribed with candy and ice cream to keep their silence. The brothers were finally arrested in 2011 when the older girl told a relative.
The brothers pleaded guilty in March to committing lewd acts on children and continuous sexual abuse.
