NWS Issues Frost Advisory For LA, Riverside Counties

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Cool temperatures are expected today as a dry cold air mass moves across Southern California, forecasters said Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, a frost advisory will remain in effect in San Gabriel and Santa Clarita valleys until 9 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The advisory was also issued until 8 a.m. for areas in Riverside County.

A wind advisory will remain in force until 10 a.m. for areas in Los Angeles County, with gusts of 45 miles per hour.

Meteorologists said residents can expect to see sunny skies today under below average temperatures later this afternoon.
