NWS Issues Frost Advisory For LA, Inland Empire

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A frost advisory has been issued for several areas across the Southland, meteorologists said Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, the advisory will remain in effect until 9 a.m. for areas in the San Fernando, San Gabriel and Santa Clarita valleys. The advisory is also in force for the Santa Monica Mountains recreational area.

Forecasters said the coldest overnight area will be in the western tier of the San Fernando Valley.

All pets, farm animals and sensitive vegetation should be brought indoors.

Meanwhile, a frost advisory has also been issued for valleys around Riverside, Coachella Valley and the San Gorgonio Pass near Banning until 8 a.m., meteorologists said.
