No Signs Of Foul Play In Death Of Woman Found In Car In Stater Bros. Parking Lot

WEST COVINA (AP) — Police say they don't suspect foul play in the death of a woman whose body was found in a car at a West Covina supermarket.

The woman's decomposing body was found on Aug. 25 in the back seat of a car in a Stater Bros. parking lot.

She was identified Wednesday as 36-year-old Samira Girma of Irvine.

Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County coroner's office tells City News Service that the cause of death hasn't been determined pending the results of drug testing.

But West Covina police spokesman Brian Daniels says there are no signs of foul play and investigators don't consider it to be homicide.
