No Evidence Of Foul Play Yet Found In Death Of Boy, 3-Months

COMPTON (CBSLA.com)  —   Officials said there has been no evidence of foul play found in an investigation in the death of a 3-month-old Compton boy.

Deputies were called to a home in the 13000 block of South Harris Saturday morning to respond to a report of a baby not breathing.

The child was reported dead at the scene, according to Deputy Grace Medrano of the LA County Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

"The exact cause of death is unknown" and will be determined by the coroner's office, Medrano said.

The child's body has not been examined by coroner's investigators yet, so there is no indication of foul play, but the cause and manner of death remains undetermined, said Lt. Larry Dietz of the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
