Nintendo To Release Miniature NES With 30 Built-In Games

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Just days after releasing the now-global gaming phenomenon Pokémon Go, Nintendo announced Thursday the return of its popular Nintendo Entertainment System.

The company will be calling the new product NES Classic Edition, and it will look just like the original NES, only a lot smaller and with 30 classic Nintendo games built into the system.

Users will be able to connect the device into their televisions via a HDMI cable. The system will also come with a controller designed to work just like the iconic rectangular NES game pad.  Controllers are reported to cost just $10.

The NES Classic Edition will be made available to the public on November 11 and will retail for just under $60.
