NB 405 Freeway To Fully Close In Sections Of LA For $28M Pavement Rehabilitation Project

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Sections of the northbound 405 Freeway in Los Angeles County will be fully closed Wednesday through Friday for a $28.47 million pavement rehabilitation project, according to the California Department of Transportation.

Closures will be in place from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. at the following locations while workers install loop detectors:

April 22: Between Victory Boulevard off-ramp and Sherman Way on-ramp

April 23: Between Sherman Way off-ramp and Roscoe Boulevard on-ramp

April 24: Between Roscoe Boulevard off-ramp and Devonshire Street on-ramp

Signed detours will be in place but officials say delays are expected, a Caltrans spokesperson stated in a press release Tuesday.

The rehabilitation project is funded by the State Highway Operation and Protection Program.
