Multi-Vehicle Crash Snarls Traffic On WB 91 Fwy In Corona

CORONA (CBSLA.com) — A multi-vehicle crash has snarled traffic for morning commuters traveling through Corona on Thursday.

Shortly before 5 a.m., eight vehicles collided in a chain reaction on the westbound 91 Freeway at Green River Road.

A SigAlert was subsequently issued for three lanes on the freeway until around 7:30 a.m.

However, huge delays still remained in the area.

CBS2's Stephanie Simmons reported traffic backed up well into Riverside. She advised commuters to take the 60 Freeway as an alternative route.

A tow truck was sent to the scene to remove wreckage from the freeway.

No injuries have been reported.
