Motorists Warned Of Heavy Winds In Southern California

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Heavy winds remain after a weekend storm system swept through Southern California, dumping rain and snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory through Monday night for valley and mountain areas, where gusts could top 50 mph.

Drivers of high-profile vehicles and vehicles towing trailers are urged to use caution.

Rough seas with waves topping 15 feet have led to a small craft advisory for boaters.

Daytime temperatures will top out in the low-to-mid-60s across greater Los Angeles.

Heavy rain Sunday led to traffic tie-ups for travelers coming home after the long holiday weekend. Several inches of snow fell in the mountains.
